WRAP LIKE A MONSTER

Our project is the union of different professional figures that has joint their talents and knowledges in one compact team. We used various and innovative printing techniques, to test the product and created a 3D graphic project to allow us to reach our final and wanted result. The union of the different people and their professionalisms was crucial. That’s why we decided to add in the design a personal element for each member: – the jasmin flower to simbolize the Pakistani’s tradition for Isaac, the wrapper; – the typical “Mamuthones” mask for the Sardinian roots of Alessio, the wrapper; – “Deadsmoke”, the name of the band of Teo (Highscore Tattoo), our image maker; – the number 11 for Salzy, the designer; – a sailor’s hat for Stefano, the CEO and wrapper designer, that he dedicates to his beloved father who is no-longer with us. Our project is a unique design, that was first drawn by hand and then adapted to the shape of the car digitally. It can be watched by different sides and tells an apocalyptic story where nature is the main character. The idea started from the image of a mammuth, whom we connected various elements like water, technology, showing the impact of men on the environment. The scolopendra, the Venus flytrap and Michelangelo’s “the Creation of Adam” which we twisted with a bionic arm, all tie up and become meaningful thanks to colours, the chosen material effects and the 3D prints. We tried to portray a nature that rebels against all the men contaminations and with its disarming strength, wins and takes backs what was hers, leaving men behind. Il progetto  è l’unione di più figure professionali che hanno unito i loro talenti e le loro conoscenze in un unico team. Ha richiesto tecniche di stampa nuove e diversificate, test di prodotto e accorgimenti grafici 3D che hanno reso possibile il risultato finale. Unire più professionalità è stato decisivo. Per questo motivo ho scelto di inserire un elemento personale per ogni singolo membro del team: il fiore Jasmine della tradizione pakistana di Isac Wrapper la maschera della tradizione sarda Mamuthones di Alessio Wrapper – la scritta del nome della band Deadsmoke di Teo (Highscore Tattoo) Image Maker – il numero 11 per Salzy Designer – il cappello da marinaio del defunto padre per Stefano CEO & Wrapper Designer
 Il progetto che ha preso vita è unico, inizialmente disegnato a mano e poi trasformato digitalmente. Consente di essere osservato da qualsiasi angolatura e racconta una storia dove la natura è la vera protagonista .
 Alla ricerca di un’ idea…mi sono imbattuto in un Mammut, al quale abbiamo collegato elementi come acqua, ambiente, tecnologia, impatto dell’uomo sul sistema e sostanze contaminanti. La scolopendra, le piante carnivore, la creazione di Adamo di Michelangelo e il braccio bionico s’intrecciano e si caricano di significato attraverso colori, effetti dei materiali e stampe 3D.
 Una Natura che nonostante la contaminazione quotidiana si ribella e con una forza disarmante vince e si riappropria di ciò che era suo, ricreandosi e costringendo l’uomo a fare un passo indietro.
