Designed by Corsa Auto Design, wrapped by NJ Vinyl Wrapz. Inspired by the Damascus Camo designs from the Call of Duty video game, this theme was a challenge to create and complete. The prominent feature is set of a three-dimensional chrome-like ribbons that dance throughout the body of the car. Within the gaps are more wavy textures. The entire design is an optical illusion of swirls, creating a very unique style you wouldn’t usually see done as a vehicle wrap. The color scheme takes inspiration from 80’s retrowave art. Every single element of this design was created from scratch, with various techniques used to create a make the artwork feel realistic and three-dimensional, as if you could feel the ridges upon touching the wrap. Printed on Avery Dennison SW900 Satin Silver Metallic, the material enhances the depth of the design and really makes it feel as if the layers are floating above one another. We also used Avery Dennison SW900 Gloss Black and laminated with Avery Dennison DOL 1460Z. More pictures can be viewed at @SwirlySix on Instagram.
